February Half Term Fun

The Warden's Base at Saltwells National Nature Reserve was a hive of activity on the first day of the February half term as visitors came to make their own fairy and elf doors.

The event was free to all, with resources having been purchased using vouchers gifted to The Friends group following us receiving the 'Stepping Up in the Community Award' in the group category at the Dudley CVS Kindness Awards towards the end of 2021.

Children of all ages, parents, grandparents and carers all enjoyed making the doors to take home to decorate their own homes or gardens- just look at fun we had and the end results!

The Friends Group will be running more free 'Come and Create' activities in the coming months, having recently been commissioned by Creative Black Country to host these.
